Lorraine Matheson

Tara built in 1887 is situated on the corner of William and Molong Streets. It was purchased by Lorraine and Don in 2007, who with careful restoration have turned the skeletal remains of the old garden, into a nurtured display by adding paths, sections of colour, bromeliads, cacti gardens, hydrangeas, a green house, gazebo and water lilies blooming in an old bathtub.
 
No matter what the season there is always something to attract the eye as foliage, flowers and ornaments complement each other. The original Jacaranda tree and wisteria vines complete the heritage of this home.
